Legal warranty of conformity
Under OUG 140/2021, the Romanian transposition of EU Directive 2019/771, your rights as a consumer are clear and cannot be restricted by contract.
Minimum warranty duration
- New vehicles: minimum 2 years from delivery.
- Used vehicles (the general case for our inventory): minimum 12 months, per Art. 9(5). Shorter periods cannot be agreed.
- Presumption of non-conformity at delivery: 1 year. Any non-conformity found in the first 12 months is presumed to have existed at delivery; the burden of proof to the contrary lies with the seller.
Your rights in case of non-conformity (Art. 11–14)
- Repair or replacement (your choice, if technically possible and cost-proportionate).
- Proportional price reduction.
- Contract termination and refund of the price paid.
These rights are free of charge. Transport, labour, and materials costs are borne by us. To exercise your warranty, contact us by email or WhatsApp within 30 days of finding the non-conformity.
The legal warranty does NOT apply to
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by improper use, accidents, lack of maintenance.
- Unauthorized modifications to the vehicle.
- Non-conformities explicitly accepted at the time of sale (Art. 7).
Any commercial warranty we offer (where mentioned) is cumulative with the legal warranty and does not restrict it. Full details are in the commercial warranty certificate handed over at delivery, written in Romanian per Art. 15(9).
What clients ask
